Dr Robert F. Gray

East Bay Area Restylane

Restylane is the smart and easy way to add volume and smoothness to your skin. Restylane is based on a hyaluronic acid gel that closely resembles the body's own hyaluronic acid. It is long lasting, but not permanent. For Restylane in the Bay Area, Blackhawk, Central Valley, Manteca, Danville, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, San Ramon, Livermore, East Bay, Dublin, Tracy, Modesto, Stockton, and Tri-Valley areas, visit Dr. Robert Gray,  a dual board certified facial plastic surgeon at MD Laser Spa.

Bay Area RestylaneWhat is Restylane®?
Restylane®  is a natural, cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct facial wrinkles and folds. It is made of natural hyaluronic acid which already exists in the human body. The hyaluronic acid in Restylane® is a clear gel called NASHA (Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid) that is completely biocompatible with human hyaluronic acid.

Consult with specialist, Dr. Gray, a dual board-certified facial plastic surgeon, and his staff at MD Laser Spa for Restylane in the Bay Area, Blackhawk, Central Valley, Manteca, Danville, Livermore, East Bay,Dublin,Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, San Ramon and Tri Valley Areas.

How does the treatment work?
Restylane® is injected in small amounts underneath the skin with a small needle to fill in creases, lines, wrinkles and folds.

It is excellent for under the eyes to reduce puffiness and dark circles.  Ask Dr. Gray about  his Restylane treatment under his eyes!

Dr. Gray treated his right eye with Restylane but left the left eye untreated.
Compare how much better the right eye looks versus the left eye.

This treatment takes under 30 minutes and can last for YEARS!!

Restylane is currently $ 50 off per syringe through the end of March.
It is also fabulous in the lips, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

To maximize comfort, an anesthetic block may be administered. Dr. Gray feels it is very important to reduce or eliminate any discomfort during Restylane treatments.

Dr. Gray is a member of the exclusive Liquid Facelift Association.

While others may charge you for the comfort of an anesthetic block, it is included with your treatment at MD Spa.
How many treatments are required?
Multiple treatments may be necessary to optimize results. Two to four weeks after the first treatment is administered, a touch-up treatment may be required to achieve the desired results. The treatment wears off after six to twelve months and may be repeated to continue the effect.
Is Restylane® safe?
Restylane® is FDA approved and is a safe product because hyaluronic acid occurs naturally in the body and therefore dissolves naturally in the body's tissues.
Are there any possible side effects?
Possible side effects include swelling, redness and, in some cases, bruising. Generally these side effects disappear within a couple of days. These potential side effects are non-threatening.
Will there be any downtime?
There is generally no downtime. The treatment session takes about thirty minutes to perform.
What is the advantage of Restylane® over other treatments?
The advantage of Restylane® over other treatments is that the crystal-clear gel is completely natural so it dissolves in the human body. It is also a non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid, which means that it causes less allergic reactions than animal-based treatments. No allergy testing is required before use.
What are the results?
The final result leaves facial features looking healthy, youthful and fuller.
What can be expected post-treatment?
On some occasions, there is slight redness or swelling. This temporary discomfort lasts two or three days. Your normal routine can be resumed immediately.
How soon will results appear?
Your results appear after any swelling diminishes.
How long does Restylane® last?
Restylane® lasts six to twelve months. Factors such as age, skin type and daily activities can influence how long the results last.
What are the alternative treatments?
There is an assortment of other treatments including collagen creams, fat injections and chemical peels, but Restylane® is an excellent choice because of its natural injectable formula.
Is additional treatment necessary?
Additional treatment is necessary to keep the look persistent. In six months, the hyaluronic acid will begin to fade, and new treatment can be injected to maintain the desired results.
Instructions for before treatment:
Before treatment, be sure to tell your doctor about any allergies you have to foods, medicines or environmental elements. Discuss any serious medical conditions and medications you are currently taking. Carefully follow any instructions given to you.
Instructions for after treatment:
Clients can resume normal activities immediately following treatment. Slight redness and swelling may occur. Ice packs can be applied to reduce swelling.
