Juvederm™ should be avoided by those who have a history of excessive scarring, keloid formation, pigment disorders and those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Are there any possible side effects?
Temporary side effects include swelling, tenderness, redness, lumpiness and bruising.
With any injection there is some risk of infection.
Is additional treatment necessary?

Instructions for before treatment:
Avoid aspirin and other blood thinners before treatment.
Instructions for after treatment:
Resume normal activities, but be prepared for some slight redness or swelling. Apply cool compresses to reduce swelling if desired.
